IN MY SUITCASE: I always make sure I have clothes that I can layer for comfort and a great pair of shoes since I always log more miles that my feet can handle. I also make sure I have any medications that I may need, especially allergy meds.

TOP TRAVEL MEMORY: In November of 2019 I spent 4 days exploring Barcelona and then met my two daughters in Paris for 9 days. Paris was dealing with a harsh cold spell but it never stopped us from spending every day finding new and unique experiences in the City of Love and of course because of the cold we made several stops at Angelina’s for hot chocolate.

BEST FOOD FIND: I am a foodie by heart but have several items. First, I always try to find some regional street food to enjoy like a local but when I am in Maui I always go to Kimo’s in Lahaina. The steak and cobb salad are an old favorite and for dessert the Hula Pie (if you haven’t had Hulu Pie the trip to Kimo’s is worth that alone).

ON MY BUCKET LIST: South America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the list keeps growing. They say the more you travel and see the world that it makes the world smaller, I think the opposite is true. Travel exposes one to so much more and with each step the world unfolds before your eyes. I still have so much to do and to see and my hope is to help others along the way.
